Community Bonus Pack 3 - Volume 5 Released

The best news I've seen for Unreal Tournament 3 in some time... Community Bonus Pack 3, volume 5 has been released. It's actually been out for a few days now so I know many of you have already grabbed it, but I can't resist showing off a few pics of the great looking maps they've got in store. Impressive!

posted the following in the other thread with no replies.... any help would be appreciated..

HELP ! Downloaded and installed the maps and when I try to play the maps on instant action, my UT3 crashes ! I used the installer DL

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

P.S. Using Windows 7, plenty of Ram and mid range Graphics card, no problems with any other maps

dirtyharry - try uninstalling the installer version, and try the zip version instead.

Isn't this game dead though... it's all very well having new maps but if they aren't sever-side who will ever play them?

Epic is the one who needs to patch their old game.

I like to set the game time to like an hour, add as many bots as I can at once, and gradually scale up their difficulty till I know the map frontwards and backwards.

Why release a map pack for a game with no online players?

There is something about mapping for UT that I can't really find in another game. Not Quake, not painkiller, not to mention other realistic shooters like Crysis or BF.
Maybe Gears PC would had been something close as for MP mapping but we never really know coz there was only Gears 1 for PC.

Good responses, guys

And also great job with these maps!
Nice to see Epic celebrating this release together with UT1's 13th anniversary

Heh, I agree with everything above
I wish GoW PC had had a more stable editor though. I couldn't even load two packages after another without that thing crashing
