player start thing

when i open the player start box and close it so i can place it on the map, it does not appear when i place it. how should i properly place the player start icon on the map?

Open up the Classes on the right side and find the player start object, click on it.Go to the 3D view window and find the position where you want the start point, right click on the floor suface and choose "Add PlayerStart here"
I think that should do it.
