I've been tempted all weekend on Batman, but I really want it on Steam. Great price though.

Hmmm. I know I shouldn't have, but I picked up Crysis 2 on Origin. $10 was just too tempting, as I really loved the first one.

So this game is mission based MP that can be played as SP, right?

Unless they changed the game since the previous free weekend, I'd say "no"
Then again I haven't bothered with this free weekend nor to I really know much about the DLCs, so I guess change that to "maybe"

I looked at the Brink sale but I get the impression I would be pretty disappointed by this shooter so I passed on it.

Yeah, I've steered well clear of Brink.
I haven't actually heard a good word said about it tbh.

Here's the crap I got. I will trade almost anything for the Defense Grid You Monster DLC.

Homefront is 75% off on Steam today $12.49. Is it worth it?

I enjoyed it, but it is very much in the line of CoD games. If Call of Duty + Red Dawn works for you, then yes.

Thanks there's still 10 hours of the deal I might give it some thought. Cheers!

O.k.

I decided against it when I read some reviews that said the single player campaign was "disappointingly short".

It's true, I beat it in under 4 hours. Might have even been under 3.
