Tribute to the old game netstorm

Basically a tribute to the old game called netstorm also lol I was bored and wanted to do the meshes!
All meshes are inspired from the old RTS game netstorm still a classic game

I was playing Netstorm when it came out on demo and got the full game when it was out, I played as much Netstorm as I did Unreal and UT99 when they came out.

I have no plans for the meshes I just did them for the fun of it

few weeks back I found my old NS cd and it brought back all the fun I had playing NS so I just did the meshes and posted the screenshots.

You know NS is still around and kicking, now that the source code is being maintained by the fans who are maintaining and patching it a stable main game server is also now back up and running.

Was playing around today with the icecannon mesh seeing about getting it skinned and here is my noob attempt at skinning it :P

been playing around with blender some more did some more Netstorm buildings and thought you guys would like to see them

Rain Fence and Ice Tower blocker building

The day I get all the meshes finished and skinned then I might think about putting them together into a fan project. I have already zipped up some of me meshes up that I have done and given them to the NSHQ site for anyone to download and use or skin. so if there where any skinners that are fans of the old NS and want to help show their love of the old classic they could download the pack and help lend a hand skinning them

Once I finish the rain temple I will be doing the Sun workshop. that will be three seperate meshes to represent the differnt upgrade stages.

Well here is a small update the skinner is redoing the sides with higer detail stucko walling texture and base stone texture.

but the roof of the rig base is looking good!

Ok guys here is a small update the skinner has updated the side walls so they are not so blury and now look crisp and sharp like a stucko wall. He is making some final changes to the base of the model then he is finishing the helicoptor that the building controls.

Anyhow here is the update hope you guys like it!

Right now working on a sunwork shop and its differnt upgraded states.

getting the basic shape of it together then once i get all the parts for the building added I will go back over the meshes and tweak and merge and adjust faces to make it more clean. anyhow here is how its shaping up.
