No no no, it's like this:
 Rebirth looks especially good. Finally, a light and airy map without too much frackin' bloom. There are way too few of those around.

Very nice! It would have been a bit more satisfying though if in the execution sequence at the end of the vid people actually got impaled (like they are by Stinger shards) instead of merely gibbed. It will be interesting to see how this was handled in the other maps...

From a mapper's point of view it's great devising various nasty ways in whioch to execute the losing team. I seem to remember some of the UT99 ones as being amazingly convoluted.

I think you're forgetting a few.... Giant butts that spew fart gas? Sticky grenades spewing all over, beep beep beeping and then exploding? Alien attacks?

for Face I actually put more work into the escape route (which required lots of custom kismet provided by our very own Wormbo) and release than the execution, but I still think its nice even if its fairly simple

It is coming...... Gotta say though, whilst we have a few fun things going on in maps, we have only really scratched the surface of what is possible here. With the code base we have and the power of kismet it is at the point where if you come up for an idea for an execution, you WILL be able to do it

Yeah, let's hope this first release gets more people interested in mapping for Jailbreak. If you like doing stuff in Kismet this is your gametype to map for!
Conversions of already existing CTF maps may also work nicely... Quote:
