Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. Arrow keys is the proper way, the WASD is for "n00bs" or laptop users...I have to use WASD but normally I use keys and numeric keyboard, that was the proper way....way long ago and I sticked to that (for both platform jumping games and FPS)....and I hate that there is no numeric keyboard here so I have to use wsad at laptop. Normally I use arrow keys at PC. Maybe it is harder, but it is the proper way. And Unreal and UT have no defautly set keys at WASD, which proves something....new games do have that though but still...

I don't think WASD was ever for "noobs" except during those times when folks insist that "ESDF" is the only way to play.
Arrow keys and numpad were common in the old days because PC gaming was just getting rolling really and people needed the key to have the right symbol on it because they were busy looking down to see what they were pressing... It just took a while for "WASD" to become the standard... if anything though it was the "pros" that adopted it first and the arrow keys were for the "noobs" in my memory.
Well, WASD is the cheap way and pros are cheap, so for me they are n00bs. 
No but really, I know many people who are not n00bs and use WASD, but just don't say that arrow keys is something worse, I find it better. And don't say whoever uses arrow keys does not play games seriously...

Meh! I don't care how people play personally, elitists are elitists because they're jerks not because they care what you do.
Fun fact: WASD is the greatest ever and if you use the arrow keys then you are, in actual fact, a really stupid person, because they are much worse.
the reasoning for wasd is ismple. it keeps your left hand on the home row of the keyboard and you have more keys within reach which means more buttons you can use to bind to things. It also makes chat a hell of a lot easier.
