UE2 - UT2kX Actors

I'm trying to make people that I've placed in the map do certain things. Even if it is just stand up and look normal. How can I do this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Im not 100% but I think you do it via scripted sequences... not something Ive ever done but I do remember reading something along those lines in Mastering Unreal Tech's section on matinee sequences.
