UT 5 new UT voicepacks

All packs have as many Acknowledgements, Friendly Fires, Orders, Others and Taunts as I could cram into them. The UT3 imported voicepacks don't have order sounds, cause UT3 didn't have any orders samples. Defaults were used in these cases.

It is not alien male, but nightmare male. Only thing used in game from it was "no tears please it is a waste of good suffering" or some taunt like that.
Alien male is genmokai. And this is not, this is nightmare.

There is no skaarj in ut2003 and he said he took it from ut2003. No, it is nightmare for sure, it fits with the female nightmare.

No. It's an unused alien voicepack. The nightmare/default alien is more raspy.
By default, the Gennies and the Nightmare use the same voicepack; the Gennies just have a couple voice samples taken out. This is a separate alien voicepack that was never used.

Incidentally, if there's any chance of getting the Necris voicepacks into UT, I would love it. :)

No, sorry but I disagree. Nightmares have own voicepacks and they are different and they were probably called as alien voices in one stage of developement, because they are "aliens".
Genmokais and skaarj have same voicepacks, but not nightmare. Sorry, but it really IS that way.
There is a lot of confusion with this. But these were in ut2003 too and they were never meant to be for skaarj, I don't take ut2004 skaarjs too seriously as they are just "genmokai aliens" with different model and abilities (higher jump instead of higher speed).........etc

What the hell, since when were skaarjs supposed to have green blood?

Trust me, the default alien and nightmare voices are the same set.
If you look through TauntPack (which contains all the default taunt samples) you'll see F/MJ (Female/Male Juggernaut) F/MM (Female/Male Merc) and FMN (Female/Male Nightmare) there are no F/MA (Female/Male Alien) because the aliens use a truncated version of the Nightmare voicepack.
The NewDeath package follows the same formula.

This is a different voicepack that was never used.

I never said it was intended for the Skaarj. The AlienMale.uax does appear in 2k3, but it isn't used by anyone by default.

Alright now I am browsing through voicepacks and lol at "You're almost as good as Cliffyb"

Yeah, ok it uses same set but different sounds, nightmares have own sounds which aliens don't use.
"You're worse than Mark Rein" lmao.

Basically they use the MN genmokais and nightmares use the mn ones.

AlienMale was the name of the uax file the samples were found in. So that's where the name came from.

The UT3 necris voicepacks should be simple enough (especially now that I can extract the sounds directly, as opposed to using soundcapture). The necris voicepacks don't have as many teamplay type samples as the others did however.

I've also done a Bishop voicepack that I've forgotten to release.

If you can make voicepacks from these.
