Hyperblast in q3..

I've been keeping an eye on this conversion, and he's finally released it.

Hyperblast in the quake3 universe

What do you think? Imho it looks truthfull to the original. Probably a bit smaller.

Other conversions: Curse, Turbine iirc, Lavagiant (watergiant), morpheus and face as well (which was horrendous).

Damn, why did the reviewer had to mention "Unreal arena". That was such an awesome project! Shame it wasn't meant to be.

That is unbelievable,seems like somebody liked the map too much,that he made it for Quake3,too.Looks not bad,even when I never played Quake3.

When they like it make UT maps for Quake3,I suggest them to make a Quake3 Deck16 map,bettest DM map in the Unreal history!

Phobos, Morpheus and Face were all my favorites. I hope they do phobos.

Phobos was made for the "Unreal arena" mod. It looked quite spectacular, imho.

Aha, here's what "Unreal arena" looked like:

Good to see UT maps are being remade for other games. I remember playing Nexuiz version of Face a year ago and it was fun.

It's a shame he had to end that project, it would have been a beautiful marriage. It looks awesome, the weapon models look better too.

I forgot to mention Liandri,this map is great and Hyperblast,and Rankin,but that's a map of UT2004.

I really miss the old website Deja Review that disappeared in 2003 , it was dedicaced to maps conversion from games to other games, there were lots of those quake1/2/3 to UT (and vice versa) maps conversion available, some were very nice.
