well...

IT'S NOT FINISHED!

None of the UE3 games are but they all look better than this crap! GoW and UT2K7 and Huxley as well ... this game looks like they wasted a couple of million bucks ... they may as well stuck with the old engine or used the modified one from DE. In any event there is just no excuse for them to show off pics of a game that looks like that ... better to just show concept art and renders. I bet tons of people from HERE could do a better job with the models and the levels ...

Looks like an N64 game with a few better textures and a little more care put to the character faces.

That's $300,000+ down the drain for them (if it were Unreal Engine 2; I can't imagine how much they actually spent). They could have bought a Playstation 1 engine to do that game...

That wall made me lmao, 128x128 resolution max...on an engine that can handle 4096x4096 :con:

And why does the guy's suit seem to be made from roofing felt?

They actually spent around 2 mill for the UE3 license ... it costs about that much ... and I do agree that visuals may not be the only thing ... but THEY ARE A HUGE PART OF GAMING and the big thing for the Next Generation of gaming so you can feel even more immersed ... with this game all you will feel is sick to the stomach to see them waste such great technology. They may just need to hire some better people so maybe there is still a chance for this game.

There isn't a pricing structure for UE3, Epic has been selling it on a case by case basis, so there is no telling how much they actually paid to license the technology.
