Favorite Skaarj design so far

Out of curiosity, what's everybody's favorite skaarj design so far? There's the big, lean Unreal1 versions, the Hybrids from UT99, the brutish Unreal2 skaarj, the hoop-game tusked UT2004 skaarj, the ECE mecha skaarj, the U2 styled Szalor/Kraag from UC2, or the U1 Trooper-esque Torger/Garek...

Have to make a top 5 list, since i haven't played UC2 and i like most skaarj. :/

1. Unreal 1 Skaarj
2. UT99 Skaarj Hybrid
3. Unreal 2 Skaarj
4. UT2004 Mech Skaarj
5. UT2004 Regular Skaarj

My favorite is Clanlord and dominator in 2k4... then maybe uc2 style... u2 u1 tied... and then...ECE mecha Skaarj... Hybrids were kool but not faves...

1. Unreal skaarj. The one, and only 1337 Skaarj version.

UT Scare Hybrids look ok. Unreal2 skaarj like a weird gorilla :-/

I've found that if you make a map with for unreal 2 with skaarj and any other creature in the room they start milling each other out of it, kinda like how monsters fight each other in Doom, its pretty funny!

1 Unreal 1 skaarj
2 UT skaarj/human hybrids
3 UC2 skaarj
4 Unreal2 skaarj
5 Mecha Skaarj UT2k4
6 UT2k4 skaarj

U2 and UC2 (all versions of); way more menacing.
Although I miss the original face spike positioning from the original Unreal.

I liked the hybrids. No dreads, but Skrilax had his f*cking face peeled off. Tell me that's not cool.

Mostly it just depends on how you want to see the Skaarj. If you wanted them to be mindless wandering monsters, the U1 guys will do. If you want to look at them as a big bad planet-conquering alien race, then that would be more of a U2 look. If you see 'em more as huge proud warrior/nomads, that's more UC2.

That's an intresting take. They struck me, personally, as more intelligent in U1 than in U2. In the first one they had a sort of fighter stance and would run away when wounded and so on, whereas in U2 they just scream and run right at you like a wounded U1 Brute, although the blocking assault rifle shots with their claws was dang cool. It's one of the main reasons i didn't like them in 2.

U2 Skaarj are the same as the 2k4... i just looked in the folder and every skaarj in 2k4 is in u2... and that's kool... and in u1 they weren't mindless the a.i. wasn't as good back then

UnrealTournament Skaarj Hybrid (looks awesome)
Unreal2 Skaarj (most of them looked like rabid gorrilas but the heavy trooper ones were quite awesome)
Ut2004 Skaarj (took me awhile to realize they were actually skaarj, so last place)

and i dont know about UC2 really.

The UT2004 Skaarj are the best conversion from the regular Unreal 1 skaarj I believe, and the original come a close second.

Can't someone make a shot of all of them? I'm unknown with the ECE Skaarj.

I think I reconsider my Choice for UC2 Szalor, as I recall how ubercool the Unreal2 Skaarj was with his glowy eyes, razorlike claws and his pecks.

And aboutt he Clasic Unreal Skaarj, do note that there are like 15 variants in Unreal.

There are two types of Skaarj in U1 (Warrior and Trooper) and about six to eight variants for each.
