Since I feel mean and nasty at the moment, I've decided to set the deadline for the current round for:
00:00 BST Thursday 11th May. That means you all have until end of Wednesday to have any outstanding matches. Here's my current list of matches to be played, feel free to correct me if you've played or one person has withdrawn. I've not been able to check the forums as much as I'd like lately. Thor's Hammer vs WAnk Stamp vs Pope baron samedi vs Bull_on_Parade Kukuman vs Diving_Mullah Spyder913 vs Yellow5 I think mute withdrew, so Mazza has gone through on a bye. |

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, I'm still new to the forum....
![]() Is it possible to spectate at the matches? I could really use the experience watching some of them. So I was wondering what server are they on, and can people join in spectate mode? Or does the amount of people on the server, playing or not, affect server lag? *not sure* Thanks! Troll |

If you want to watch people play you can go RA (Rocket Arean), It is mod, which two people duke it out. and like basketball pick up games chanlenger plays the winner. The nice thing about the game is that, the levels are small and There are no power ups or ammo. You knowledge of the level becomes less important and your dodging skill and usage of weapon will the determine the winner.
YOu also can look up some of the top 100 DM players and see what servers they often play on and just watch during the match. But if you realy want to get better, you need to play and play against tough players. Learn from you mistakes and keep trying. ![]() Kick Hard and Blow Bubbles! [:]O |

As far as spectators go, it's up to the two players whether they want to have spectators or not. It's not listed as a rule but it's only fair to them to decide. A lot of matches seem to get played on the Duel servers that are scattered around and they only have two player limits anyway.
I suppose you'll just need to keep scanning the forums and see if anyone is advetising their match or not, since it's not possible for us to force time limits on anyone. |

I guess what I meant was I would like to see players going 1vs1. You don't see that from spectating in DM. Also it's exciting...like when they had the QIL finals on QTV. (I'm a geek, I know)
To answer Diver, I do play on those server where the really good players frequent. I actually play on nothing but those servers, keeps me humble and makes me a better player ---but spectating in those isn't the same, because DM with 8 or 10 players isn't the same as a 1vs1, know what I mean? ![]() --Troll |
