On another forum I visit, there's a very useful option in the Search menu to only look at the first post (thread starter) in a thread. It's great when you're looking for a thread about a specific subject, rather than a random mention in an otherwise unrelated thread.
Theoretically, this shouldn't be hard to implement (the other forum also runs vB) , and should also cut down on the processing time for those requests. Thoughts? |
