Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

A good read, Pete. Joining a clan really is good advice, regardless of whether it's a clan of a skill to be proud of. I'm in [FnG], a clan you've probably never heard of, and it's not because they're so elite and I wanted to bear their tag. It's because I joined an FnG server one evening and had a series of good DM matches. It was fun, and no on was flaming each other, calling each other campers or cheaters or shock whores or n00bs or any other thing. It was all a good time, and that's a rarity.
PS: What about those of us who are stuck out in the US with no big LAN events? I feel discriminated against!

Seriously. Our ACi boys had a lan recently and loved it.

One of the big problems with holding a LAN event in the states is the sheer geographic size of the US. While there are a lot of people in Great Britain and the immediate surrounding area that can meet in a place like Bath, England for a big-time event, imagine trying to pull 40 people together in, say, Chicago from all around the country...
I'm still thinking BU should hold a LAN party in the US sometime.
