Sound problems...

I formatted my computer, installed UT2004, and the newest patch. Some reason when I click on buttons in the GUI I get a "static" type noise. I don't notice it in game, but it doesn't seem right.

Anyone else notice this?

Play with the audio setup buttons. And your sound card mixer. A friend of mine had problems with onboard (5.1) sound, maybe this could be the problem.

I get a similar problem (along with many mic problems) on the menu screen. Whenever I click one of the buttons I get a really low tone. It only happens when im using my 5.1 setup. But that sound is soooo loud, it rattles my desk and i have to turn off my sub when im navigating the menus lol.
