GTA3 PC skins.
I purchased GTA3 for the PC last year. Now that My computer can finally run it I find an option for custome skins for your player. I searched on the internet But cannot find any. Is there something I am missing? or did people not really make any?

are they the same like vice city and also bitmaps?
if yes I can give you one I made myself some time ago(it doesn't look superb,but better than other skins I found in the net) |

they made them roshi, but the main site that had them went under i think, look for gta3.com or gtavc.vom, it had all the skins last time i checked

why post this on an unreal site? a gta site would probably be ur best bet wouldnt it?

you can make your own skins if you want. there is a file somewhere (it says in the intruction booklet if you have it) that has the player's skin that you can edit if you are good in photoshop or some other program like that. if you want pre-made skins there are tons of sites out there. check out www.gta3.net. the site is in german but they have more stuff there than any other place i have found.

GTA3 and VC use the same format, but the textures are laid out differently, if you use a GTA3 skin in Vice, the skin will have textures put in the wrong places, and the same if you do it the other way round. The one OST posted is for GTA:VC.
Here's one for GTA3, it's the prison uniform texture with only one change, the hands are stored in a different place on the prison uniform model. It may look different to the original to the actual prison uniform at the start, because of the different models. The Dethvinum one is one of my prefered skins. I tried once to make a Necris skin, but it turned out somewhat poor. |
