Some days ago i saw Starship Troopers2 and i thought invasion is a good base. Nevertheless ive some ideas which would also fit in the "normal" invasion mod.
Random waves, not every 10 seconds maybe a break to refill ammo etc.
"Objektives" to hold up defence ... find some ammo for the turrents or energycells to keep the doors closed
So some players have to go out and find some items
an "Assault" mode, something linke sven coop, running through a level reach a goal ...
