I don't have a copy of 4 yet myself, and I know not everyone will have purchased a copy by the timw this gets underway.. Obviously ppl who want a copy and can map for UT will enter.

what ever happened to the contest idea? there have been a good number of new releases since ut2004 came out and there seems to be morer activity than before, i know the MSU contest will of course be to priority in most peoples minds but id love to see the mapping community make a bigger splash! playing custom maps is really what got me hooked on UT in the first place and theres so much more potential now then there ever was. also the idea of a NC mappapck is a good one too...

if you make an entry fee :P then the people who are mapping would probably try to make the maps as gd as possible. So then there will be some really fun maps. But then theres the problem if neone would pay :O. Just an idea
