I'm going to come across sounding like a moron or a newbie but...

Can anyone tell me how to export a model from 3ds Max 6 to UT2003/2004 and can anyone tell me how to make textures?

All help would be very very very appreciated.
Thanks for your time!

I'm pretty new here but I think you should check the FAQ at the top before asking questions like this. As well as answering a bunch of questions there are a alot of useful links up there.

I don't know if they have linked 3dbuzz.com but thats a good resource, especialy the VTMs.

Here's a good starting place:
http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/wiki/Static_Mesh_Modeling

You should consult the UnrealWiki before asking questions here.

try looking at www.3dbuzz.com and www.masteringunreal.com as the video tutorials there are good at getting you up to speed on a lot of different things

Just out of curiosity, is 3ds Max 6 backwards compatible with plugins from 5 and 4?
