Question Models with name sensitive texture files

i was recently trying to make a skin for a model i downloaded here from Skincity called Vigna Ghina by Paras for ut2003. When I noticed if i changed the names withing the utx or the utx themselves, and also changing them in the upl file to match accordingly, that the skin will not show up in the game. is there any way to get around this i have come across this problem now with a couple models. all the skins i make are for personal use or for use within my clan. If anyone or Paras himself could help me out with this it would be much apreciated

..............

WEll still no response from Paras...... I have figured that the skin texture and shaders can be put on a differently named texture file but the shield has to be in the Vighna Ghina Texture file for some reason.=P but i still want to use my shield hehe

It might actually be hard-coded in the script for the model. The two Bonus Pack 4 models for UT were like this, which is why you need my modified versions if you want to use them with custom skins.
