can't connect to server
Evening
I've just got a ut server up and running on one of my windows machines that is behind a linux firewall, I myself am on a linux box but have been unable to connect to any server including my own. Now as far as I know I should be able to connect to anything as long as it's outgoing, which they have been. Is anyone familiar with iptables here? Do I need to make a rule to allow myself the ability to connect to my server? or any other one for tht matter. thx |

Basically, you need to open up all the ports a client needs (check sites like the Unreal Admin Page for this info.). I think there's one port in particular that is used for the game itself and should be incoming too.
