Within the past month I switched from a 56K dialup to cable and have found that ICQ won't start unless I click the net detect icon in the tray. This is *probably* a good thing, I guess, but I find it kind of annoying. I've been all through the settings and can't find a way to bend it to my will <Grin> Anybody with cable in the same boat?
The thing is, about 95% of the time, literally, I forget to click ICQ and so am never officially "online"
