I've noticed that too. I think it is that ome models can only be used with bots or players. I'm not 100% sure on this one tho

i've found out why, normal UT only lets you have 32 different classes
so you have to delete some which you don't use, thats cool, coz i have loads i don't use, but...i don't know how to delete them...any ideas?

try this:
look in the .zip file or get a .umod extracter, look at what files it contains, then go to the dirs and delete those folders. you also might have to remove the strings from ur Unrealtournament.ini file

X-Bots. Here is a snip from the read-me : This is a mutator so that you can have more than 32 bot configurations. It also bypasses the bug in the UT botconfiguration window,which would only let you pick from 32 bot classes (the limit of XBots is 64).The mutator will randomly pick 32 configurations from all active lists, so it doesn't really matter if you set random order or not. |

i tryed XBots first, but for some strange reason it didn't work, it wouldn't let me configure my bots at all (knowing my luck i probably got the old version
)

The author of X-Bots was going to include the improvements from Marginally Enhanced UT into a future version of X-Bots at one point (so you'd get the best of both worlds), but I haven't heard from him for a while.
If you use Marginally Enhanced UT, do remember to set up your bots from the Mod menu option rather than from Configure Individual Bots (CIB is still the broken UT version, so if you're using a bot class above the 32 mark, it'll get replaced by a lower one when you open CIB). Marginally Enhanced UT permanent link (the download linked above may move or be removed if it uses too much bandwidth, the page will hopefully be there indefinitely.) Dark Knight: for your information, just deleting files that came from a UMod file is a bad idea. If you installed a mod by hand (e.g. a zip file containing .utx and .int files), you have to remove it by hand too, but if you installed it from a UMod, there's a proper uninstall mechanism - run System\Setup.exe and choose which mods to remove. Don't select "UnrealTournament" unless you want to uninstall the whole game
