question/suggestion about the forum software

Is there an option to turn off sig images, but leave the text part of the sig? I enjoy some of the witty remarks people have in their sigs but the size of some of these sig pics is ridiculous. And I run 1280x1024 res...I imagine some of these pics take up the whole screen for people running 1024x768. If I put all the time I spent scrolling past sig pics into my education, I'd have my doctorate degree by now.

You could always turn off images in your browser.
