Man that was some good stuff. While I may be a rivithead, I'm a blues guy down to the bones in my body.
Anybody else tune in (or are fans of blues)? |

"The Thrill is Gone" is one of my favorite BB King songs. I also own one of his greatest hits CD.

Here's a website my friend gave me for a "fringe" blues site: http://www.fatpossum.com/home.html.
This has some great blues from people many may not have heard of.

SRV is great, but there are times when I'm just in the mood for some BB King. Besides, SRV is sometimes hit-and-miss when it comes to blues.

I mean that Stevie Ray Vaughan is awesome, but I disagree with phil when he says that BB King has no talent.

BB King is the master of the Technique of the no techniques
![]() And that proves he's got talent, with really little use of techniques.... he became one of the best blues players ever.... but i preffer SRV tho

Yeah man, SRV never even looked at the guitar, true natural talent. Just flowed from his brain to his fingers. Amazing...

I can play a few songs without looking at the guitar, nothing complicated though.
