Again.... the captains will decide this. If you are adamant about having a vote in how the teams will be chosen, sign up to be a captain but then you will also have the commitment of organizing your team and matches with other captains. Thats all I have to say really about it, the method is up to the captains. There are several slots left for those positions so sign up Peregrine and Cursed_Soul if you want a vote and the responsibility for that privelege. I will not be voting in the method to remove thoughts of bias on my part as well as that way you can have an odd number and a guaranteed majority.

we can have more than 48 people total for more depth but i think thats enough to move forward... tonight ill post a summary and hopefully by then there will be enough people signed up to cap.

A) I don't want to be a captain, as I said, I am opposed to the idea of already having captains.

B) FoetalY, no one said a captain has to be the best player...

The idea was never to pick teams, it was with random teams. We merely suggested mixing it up a little if one team gets too lucky and ends up with too many good players. I suggest we stick to that method. Devide all the players we have into teams of 6, and each team decides a captain among themselves. *Then* we'll decide if any team needs changing a little to keep things fair.

getting captains now helps ensure that each team has at least one person who can dedicate the time and effort necessary.

Yeah, but Mobace, if we can't get one person out of each group of 5 to be a captain. We aren't worthy of being called BuF'ers. AND as I said previously, we didn't have a problem getting captains for either of the first 2 PuF tourney's AFTER teams were drawn.

oh GAWD! so its not degraded to a "ill take that guy" type of thing. i agree! if its NOT random teamage i am OUT! god! i thought i got out of that biased sht (dont even TRY to tell me itll be otherwise! if captians pick teams like you are suggesting bias WILL be a part of it. no matter how damn much you may Say you try not to. that is just human nature.) in junior high-school! no how, no way! i REFUSE to be a party to that, for many many reasons.

Atleast my vote went to random selection, with some adjustment afterwards to avoid one super l337 team like before.
