I need help (XP)..
I'll get right to the point..
I downloaded a file, moved it, and tried to open it. I couldn't. This file is always "in use". It only sits there, I can't change it, I can't view it and most importantly, I can't delete it. Any suggestions on how to delete this file? Thanks in advance for all your help. |

More clear..
I've rebooted. Does nothing. Still in use. I've closed just about all my applications (save necessary ones) and it's still "in use." I don't know what to do!

It's a 700mb movie file.
It's mostly a nuisance, but on a 20gb drive you need all the space you can get. |

E, I had a tech support call JUST LIKE THIS. It's only happening on XP.
A buncha my bud's movie files are now unplayable, he gets the exact same error your getting and such. Reboots don't work. (He's Don Juan from the room331studs). I have no idea what's up, it baffles me. Just another reason why I won't go with XP. |

Boot to the Recovery Console and delete it.
