Question

Every time I try to join a game over the Internet from the UT browser, the game crashes and I get this
message:
---
General protection fault!

History: AttemptLoadPending <- TickPending <- UGameEngine::Tick <- UpdateWorld <- Mainloop
---
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Try a complete unistall and re-install... when you do the re-install make sure that EVERY none essential prog (like those damn virus scans, icq and whatever) are shut down. Just hit ctrl, alt and delete once to see what is running.... end task everything but systray and explorer..

Ohh right after you do the uninstall run a scan disk and defrag your drive... if you have a virus scan run it.. you never know...

then re-install...

If you still have the prob call the tech support number on the disk case and tell them what is up they should be able to hook you up.
