DM-RorkesDrift crashing peoples computer

hi there

anyone know why DM-RorkesDrift in the community map pack is crashing peoples machines?
it works for me, but some people have reposted that they can't load the map.

look out for missing .u files
download the oridginal install and see what your missing.

Did you forget all the required files??? Not loading is quite different then crashing. Have who ever is having problems be more specific. If it crashes, what does the error message say? If it doesn't load, what file is missing?

the files are there but they crash people computers
not mine tho

i'm going to reinstall ut/inf and map pack, excluding RorkesDrif, then download rorkesdrift from the servers and see it it works.

IF this ever happens again just grab your self a umod program, the ones where as u can build your own. I'm pretty sure u can get everything out of it that way......

although thats not your problem....

I finally got Rorks running with a fresh install of INF and UT. Had the crash problem when I 1st downloaded it. And yes I had all the files in the correct place

anon_coward did you use the version i sent to you? sorry, but i didn't experience any problems on my two computers...

I'm putting together an update of the pack, with updated maps. das-boot textures that were missing and the RorkesDrift files again.

That's a new one to me. Seems like something is wrong with the mesh file. I'm hoping it's not a problem with the meshmaker, because that thing seems like the greatest thing in the world.

i'm not too sure, but it looks like the screenshot in the mylevel file has a wrong name... that's strange, though, as i didn't change anything about that

i'll take a look at it

ic can't accsess the screenshot.... but it is required by the map...

funny that l have no problem...
