UT99 and DX11??

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I'd like to buy a new HD 5850 so can anyone tell me if UT will gonna work in DX11?

- Am currently using Dx10.0 on a Sapphire Radeon hd 4350 and UT works nicely with it ;)

- Playing on 1680x1050
- OS: XP 32 bit NL

Uh, what? There are a few issues with this post: 1) UT has only an experimental DX10 renderer, 2) Windows XP doesn't support DX10, 3) Windows XP doesn't support DX11, 4) UT doesn't have a DX11 renderer at all, 5) if your card supports DX11, it supports all previous DXs as well, so you wouldn't see any difference.

Your DX10 definitely isn't the one from Microsoft, more likely one of those porting attempt projects.

Ah, I see, so there is a DX11 renderer already. There's not much point in using one, though. In fact, there is not much point in using D3Ds after 8 since they are more likely to cause problems anyway.
