I thought last year was pretty shit for movies, but I did like Woody Allen's film "Midnight In Paris."

All the films I've seen this year have been pretty lacklustre :/

I can't even recall most of the 2011 movies, but the first that comes to mind as "best" is 50/50. That movie was hysterical, really emotional, and powerful.

The best things that I watched this year were "Hot Fuzz" (2007), the original version of "The Killing" and the final Harry Potter
. Otherwise, a pretty mediocre year.
I was in Paris and walked by the set when they were filming the movie. I've yet to see it, but I thought the trailer looked pretty good.
