New D3DRenderer & G400

I installed the new d3d-renderer presented on the unreal technology page. After the installation UT only starts in window mode and is only using software rendering although I´ve installed DirectX 8.0a. I´m using a Matrox Millenium G400 with 16mb SDRAM.

Can anybody help me?
