Guns N' Roses fans were told to remove their Slash t-shirts or go home before his London appearance last Friday.

Perhaps it's no wonder that fans were throwing pint glasses at the band before the end of the show.

One fan, James Revell, has explained that he went to the GN'R show with his younger brother, but staff at the door said they would refuse him entry if he didn't remove his Slash t-shirt.

"I felt as though my freedom to wear what I want had been taken away from me," James told NME. "I did not react angrily as I didn't want to spoil the show for my brother.

"I believed they asked me to do it because Axl Rose has some problem with Slash, and if he saw me wearing the shirt he might have stormed off stage."

After all that, James and his brother had to leave after only three songs because the band started 50 minutes late - which, as we know after last week's expose, the band might plan in advance. At least they weren't more than an hour and a half late, as they were the previous night.

Karma kicked back at the band when fans started to throw glasses and money at the stage, prompting bassist Tommy Stinson to warn the crowd that they would cancel the rest of the show if it continued.

I suppose if you were a talentless dickhead like Rose you wouldn't want to be reminded who the real talent in Guns 'n' Roses was.

I quite liked most of Chinese Democracy. I'll never buy it and never bother going to see them though, because it's quite clearly not worth my time. Why pony up $100 to see a band that can't be bothered to get on stage at a reasonable time?

Back when Kal's penis still worked. Now it's resembles a raisin.

I never saw them live, but I remember when Appetite for Destruction came out. I remember being refreshed that they weren't glam rock looking "The exception being the Welcome To The Jungle video, but the white trash image wasn't cool either. Sometime in 1988 and 1989 was the first time I remember to really starting hating the radio. It seemed like America had turned white trash as **** back then.

If you listened to that record knowing it wasn't true Guns N' Roses, then perhaps it was decent. I honestly couldn't stand it period.

I was at the infamous Riverport Ampitheatre riot the day that Guns N Roses was banned from ever playing again St. Louis.
this was in like 1992.

about 1/3 of the way into their show, Axel Rose stopped in the middle of a song and jumped into the crowd. we couldn't see what he was doing because we were sitting on the grassy hill behind the main stage seating. but we found out later that he started beating the **** out of this guy in the front row for taking flash pictures with his camera.

he destroyed the guys camera then jumped back up on stage and told the crowd something about how bad the security is and much this venue sucks. then he said "I'm outta' here" and slammed the microphone on the stage and left. it made such a loud bang that some people thought a gun had been fired.

from where we were sitting, we weren't involved in the riot.
but we had a good view. chairs, bottles, stage equipment, seats, kiosks; everything was fair game.

the next day the mayor of St. Louis banned Guns N Roses from the city.

oh well I wasn't by myself lol. it was with my mom, dad, and my dads sister.
couldn't have been 6 years old.

Riverport is not your typical concert venue.
you wouldn't take a child to a packed concert in a small arena. but Riverport is open-air, it's outdoors and a lot of the seating is on grassy hills. you go there and make a day out of it; picnic lunch and all.
