I've been hearing rumours that Unreal and UT only accepts models that are composed of one object, where all vertexes are bound to the same object. In other words, that it does not allow you to, for example create a barrel out of a cylinder and then position it inside a box, symbolizing the handguard, instead of binding the two objects together.
Is it possible to create a weapon-model out of several, intact, pieces by positioning? Or do they have be bound to each other so that they create one single object?
