[Mutator]INF Ballistic Tweak

When it came to chose through a realistic aproach, I had the choice of using the M855 62 grains supersonic bullet, make a ballistic crack sound and implement it as distant fire sound and far distant fire sound, the rifle will keep all its behaviours and will only benefit of a muzzle flash hider and modified firing sound.
The other choice was to do like we're using 80 grains subsonic bullets which are completely inaudible at mid to long distances, that produce very low recoil, low energy and less range.
Personally I'd prefer it if you did it the other way, keep the supersonic ammo and modify the sounds. Again, another feature planned for IWE2.

So you think I should keep the supersonic ammo, that's a possibility, because frankly I've found no ballistic data about .223 subsonic ammunitions, just bullets for sale, with no data sheet... so all the values I used for sub 5.56 are theorical. And I'm not sure about the realism of the RoundsPerMin values I parsed for supressed 5.56 rifles, as I have no clue of the cicling rate such cartridges should produce. I would like to hear more opinions on this subject.
Besides, If I revert back to supersonic bullets this means that all weapons (including submachine gun) will be using their supersonic ammo, even P-90.

And hey... why don't you release the IWE2 source so I can see what could be used for IBT?

G36 in D3d

The shot bellow shows the G36K in its buggiest position in d3d mode, after I modified the aim view point... Should I go further? or should I come closer to the original value because it's not yet at the limit of acceptance/ban? More simply just tell me how the worst it can look to be accepted on servers... cuz comming closer to original value is more realistic.

conglomera, im not sure about implementing the 5.56 supressed modifications.. because we are not 100% sure.
maybe leave it like that for the moment?

ok heres whats going on

screen 1 is what i did for this mutie (i test ) for the m4a1 and m16a4 carrying handle. it will be in final version if conglo is ok. the sight is closer and helps long range shoots and is more realistic. i did similar for m16a2


screen 2 is puting the eod sight further, because personnaly i think it currently blocks the screen a little too... what do you think? this option is just a suggestion.




for the g36 he found out a final value . its still very close to the screen and realistic, but at the same time it makes the weapon unbuggy, and efficient in the right hands.
its amazing how a small change makes the weapon really beter. he didnt put the weapon far, its similar to the screen in conglo post above.

as for blackak, only coding is left and im beggin conglo to try it :D coz i really suck.

I like those. They look better/easier to use. It is too bad the carry handle model is a bit off and the front sight is so tiny and grey.

Also too bad that that Bush's 'MP5A2' has a flattop rail.... :hmm:

I hope those changes get added to IWE or something.

I think bushes mp5a4 with the irons need to come a bit closer, to make the sights look bigger. I think its just me, but its really challenging to aim through them.

they dont clip. maybe i could go closer but it looks nice no now?

g3 bugs. fal bugs. mp5 /EOG sight havent tried to put it closer. akm havent tried.

mp5a4 clips when closer. as long as the screen "cuts" the model it clips

I´m training some (2 at least)... and there were some other guys that had a server on their own, weeks ago... they knew a lot about INF but weren´t as skilled as you guys...
At least I´m sweeting my but to come with more players to INF... I even use my community at orkut to "convert" FPS gamers to play inf, there a lot of "sheeps" to be sheppared down there..{;-)
