That's all natural. :)

Here's a pic of her at around 3 1/2 months old.

that girl's got some big ole... eyes.

when she gets older she'll have a great pair of... retina.

seriously, great pictures.
those black n whites are outstanding. I'd be framing that sh*t in my house, way better than some "professional" portraits you'd pay 200 bucks for.

I've been thinking this lately: What the hell is so good about black and white photos? I don't get the appeal and it's like people think something is so much more artful and professional when shot in black and white. Kind of stupid and pointless imo. :\

One reason... I guess.

Say, for example, you have a colour digital photo, but it has too many colours going on, your eyes will just see a mess of colours. Your brain will basically be thinking "wtf!?".

Eliminating the colours but keeping a nice contrast between light and dark would be an easy way to fix that, and will bring back the focus to the subjects and composition of your photo.

Also, because its arty and retro. :D

Photos are not more professional or artful when done in black and white. That is a very simplistic statement but I respectfully understand how a color photo could be perceived to be better. B&W photos do not appeal to everyone, but when it is done correctly.. it is hard for anyone to deny that a B & W treatment was the correct way to approach a photo.

I've been looking through some photos from 2008/09 in the past few days and found some that were never uploaded. Here are a few from an abandoned castle, taken with my Fuji S5500:

wonderful pictures Tom. She has her mothers eyes. She will grow up to be quite the looker (no pun intended lol) as Pine said.

Did you let her out into the mess of snow we recently had?

We didn't take her out in the snow we had a few days ago, but we did for the snow that fell around Christmas. She got a good glimpse of it from the window though. :)

You know how new parents like to think their baby is especially cute even though all babies pretty much look the same? Well your baby is actually cuter than most other babies, congrats man.

wait, I don't recall ever seeing a picture of Tom(withtheweather) himself.

I'm sure he's in one of his pics or has posted one, though I've missed it.

your wife is in some of them and so it's clear where Avie gets a portion of her cuteness.
but how much?
maybe Tom looks like Dick Cheney and his daughter just got really lucky ;)

give us a shot of you and your girl!
