We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Hey thanks dude. It won't be here till Monday I think, but since this is my first PSP, I didn't really know where to start with the firmware stuff. Thanks for the advice!

I want a quieter computer with better cable management. Decided on this:

Plus it gives me incentive to start upgrading other things. That way I can have a second computer for guests. :)

This is kind of a cheat as I haven't actually bought any of this stuff yet, but today and throughout the next week I'm dropping fat stacks at Guitar Center and online. All this stuff is for the music studio we're putting together. Here's what I'm buying today:

Yamaha MM6 Synth Workstation

2-Tier Workstation Stand

Behringer MS16 Studio Monitors

Two pairs Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Studio Monitor Cans

DV016_Jpg_Large_240569_R.jpg

Here's next week's line-up:

Blue 'Spark' Cardioid Condenser Mic (And a stand. Pop filter and shockmount are included with the mic.)

Behringer MICROAMP HA400 4-Way Headphone Amp

TASCAM US-144MKII USB 2.0 4-channel Audio/MIDI Interface

DV016_Jpg_Large_583089_R.jpg

Add all the necessary cables, extras and software (I'm finally buying new copies of ProTools, FL Studio Signature Edition, and MAGIX Premium) and it's going to be around $3000 with tax. Still, that's not bad for a fairly high-quality studio setup. We're looking for studio spaces to rent too.

Very nice choices.

EDIT: So it turned out our local Guitar Centers didn't have the Behringer studio monitors in stock... but they did have a pair of Alesis Elevate 3 monitors half-off. So while having a higher MSRP and being higher quality, they ended up being cheaper anyways :D

We already came up under budget, so I took the money I saved and picked up the following extras:

M-Audio USB Uno 1X1 MIDI Interface

My MM6 has USB, but this is a real MIDI controller. Should come in handy.

And...

Audio-Technica ATH-M30

I figured why wait for the ATH-M50s when I need a decent set of cans now? Plus it's always good to have a backup pair. These are pretty nice.

The MM6 is awesome btw :D

You know it.
Still getting accustomed to my new NI Maschine MKII.

Nice dude. I always loved the trippy colors on the program pads :D
