Looking for Game Organization Utility

Does anyone know of any good free / open source game launcher utilities?

I have a folder that I use to store shortcuts to games, but I've been using Mame32 and D-Fend a bit lately for emulated stuff. I thought it would be interesting to see if something similar was available so I could filter my shortcuts based on some meta-data inside a GUI application.
