I can see both sides, sure, but why is it not worth noting the fraud that is going on? So people are getting fired, but that's just the ones getting caught. What's your point?
What's yours, exactly? How do we know there isn't fraud going on in other states? How do we know there isn't fraud being committed by Republican-leaning groups?

Lake County, Indiana is a case worth investigating a bit further:
First, let's focus on the word "first". All of the "first 2100" registrations out of some 5000 were fraudulent. CNN purposely glossed over this statistical impossibility to sensationalize the story, which isn't surprising ... but why did we not stop to think how this could have been?
The reason is because ACORN themselves screen the registrations they collect, and they flag and sort out any that are clearly fraudulent, suspicious, or incomplete before turning in all of them—which they are required to do by law, obviously—into the country registrar. According to at least one blog/site (not one I'm familiar with, so judge bias for yourself), the elections director there clearly confirmed that ACORN had done just that with their submissions to her office.
The actual truth in this trumped-up issue points heavily toward ACORN having been infiltrated and themselves defrauded by any number of rogue canvassers who sought to turn a quick buck, get paid, get out and maybe just maybe cause a dust-up along the way. At least in this particular case, based on the available information it seems the worst that ACORN itself can be blamed for is having hired these certain individuals without having predicted the fraud that they would later commit.
Second, lest we get too self-righteous about decrying voter fraud ... let's keep looking at Lake County, IN and the opposing question of voter suppression and equal rights:
Late last month, the Republican members of the election board there did their best to block the opening of early voting centers in the north part of the county, whose population is largely black and/or Democratic, claiming that it was sufficient to have the county seat of Crown Point, which is as much as an hour's drive for northern residents, not to mention predominantly white, be the sole available location for early voting.
One can argue chicken-and-egg, but let's not let half-investigations and carefully stoked mob chants of "ACORN = bad" dominate the conversation without hearing both sides of the story.
Early voting enables voter fraud. Why have an election day if there is early voting? Might as well call it election month.
Just out of curiosity; what's you stance on absentee voting for Americans that live abroad?
I didn't say that early voting was wrong. I just said that it enables fraudulent voting to have a chance to occur. I don't have any problem with people who need to vote via absentee ballots or use overseas ballots. You can't say that it's bad that there are thousands and thousands of votes coming in before election day from from fraudulent sources.
I don't really care what you have a problem with. I've already sent my vote in and didn't NEED to.
