Eden Eclipse, a Make Something Unreal Contest finalist, is the subject of an interview conducted by The Adrenaline Vault. The candid interview covers future plans for the mod, building and maintaining a development team, and the effect of the MSUC on the Unreal community.
What changes and additions are planned for future versions of the mod?
... Perhaps the biggest change we’ll be implementing is the profile system. Very likely the number one complaint we got about Demo1 was the lack of a save feature. We agree that it’s a pain in the butt to have to completely start over every time you die. Creating a true save feature in UT2004 has proved very difficult, however, so for Demo2, we’ve created a profile system that saves your information, including ammo, health and points, after each level. Now when you die, you’ll only have to restart the level rather than the entire game.
