Just got Record of the Lodos Wars on DVD 
The animation is excellent!
Here's a bit o info:
The complete set on dvd costs $60
contains both english and subtitled versions
The VHS complete set is $80 for the english ver,
and $120 for the subtitled ver
??????
The again DVD uses 2 boxes compared to 7(?).
Anyway from what I saw (the first dvd) here's my all time favorites
1.Akira: Great animation, storyline, unique
2.Lodos Wars: duh, I just got it
3.Vampire Hunter D: all time classic
4.Ghost in the Shell: best art yet, action, action, action
5.Ninja Scroll: makes 14th century asia look interesting. great fight scenes. too bad they fuxed NS][.
and lets not forget the entire DB series (not the US TV, I'm talking about the real japanese stuff).
