why is my text wierded out in UT???

Is direct3D better than glide then? because when I just got my pc I could run ut on 640*480 HIGH quality on 20fps and now, I play on 640*480 EVERY ****ING THING OFF it gives 5-10fps... is it my Windows 98SE configuration that's just ****ed up like hell?

I get like 115 fps in OpenGL with my Elsa Gladiac Ultra GF2 card.
And it looks great!!
Anything else and the fps goes to about 20-30!!!

What you run depends on your video card and system setup.
Try them all and use the best one.
