I've heard that covering up so much of your face is a sign of insecurity about you true looks - especially with comical embelishments etc - just takes the edge of us actually taking a serious look at you.
Covering up eyes is a big No No as well.
Mind you, I could be talking absolute bollocks.

You are. Mind you that is standard fare for these forums though... besides All the other pics of me I have posted are un-embellished. Well unless you want to count the pic with the markers up my nose.

How was that brutal? :con:

I wasn't being sarcastic about the time apart thing if that's what you thought? Like I said, that shit must have been tough and I'm sorry that you guys lost all that time. I'd miss my bro like hell if he was away like that. Or maybe it's cause I was joking around too much and asking questions? Just trying to be light-hearted man, to lighten up the mood or whateva, so yeah, don't take it the wrong way, you guys take things easy and best to the both of you. :)

(I guess my jokes and questions were too insensitive since they were so related to the situation and it's a big thing to deal with and a touchy subject, I didn't really put myself in your shoes, but it's hard to as I've never been through something like that.
Sorry guys.)

Oh. Heh. Sorry. Yeah, it's been fucked up, but it's all good now. :)

Thanks man.

Board outa my skull tonight between mmo servers being down, nobody I want to play with on UT games, and nothing I wish to research... So I finally settled on giving myself a mustache in PS then I had to figure out what to do with it.

That's a pretty cool effect. I was thinking you'd just made a fake moustache & took a picture.

It is a paint/photomerge of me wearing snowboarding glasses and pic of a fake mustache I got from a google image search. I cut the fake mustache out pasted it in as a second layer then duplicated it. Added a drop shadow to the first and then erased the parts that stuck out past my face. I then flattened and hand tweaked the details with various brush tools like the burn and dodge tool. Not that you asked for a rundown of how I did that but now you know.

Haha maybe, but the whole development part of it sounds annoying. I have the equipment for development, I just need to get chemicals. Seems like a lot of work, especially when I have a perfectly good DSLR. I might just do it though. Any recommendations on film?

If you are going to do your own developing start with BW film. You could take it to labs and have it developed. Then scan the film and photoshop it.

For color film Kodak Portra or Fujifilm Velvia 50.

Back in High School, I developed black and white film in one of our classes. Was fun going into the dark room with the red light filling the room.

Unfortunately, I have a feeling that with all these budget cuts in education, that the activity is no longer available.

Hehe, that was all there was when I was at school/college.
Darkroom work is great though, although it's weird in the winter; get up/go to work in the dark, spend all day in the darkroom, [apart from lunch when you need to wear sunglasses] & go home in the dark. Rinse/repeat :D
