Terrible movie...just horrible. I like the older low budget flicks....go with The day the earth stood still...that flick is awsome. Or , the blob.

I saw the last Toxic Avenger in world premiere in march during the bifff , it was fucking idiot and hilarous at the same time. Great moments to share with friends and some beers! ;)

Keg, I thought it was just okay at first, but then I started to see it as the template that it was. Cronenberg's grasp of game mechanics and design is just incredible. Plus, the DVD is beautiful (try to get the Candian version - it's a special edition compared to the bare bones US version).

Dune

There Were actually Two versions of the 80's one .
The Theatrical Release: Lots more strange parts, less explanation
The Extended TV version: Yes this was actually longer than the theatrical release and it had less scenes with the baron doing wierd stuff, and explained the butlerian Jihad in detail and In my opinion was the better of the two. (this one should be on the DVD as an extra feature)
So yeah there are 3 versions and I think they should make all of the books into movies we'd be up to 7 or 8 now with Frank Herbert's son crankin um out. (From What I'v heard they arent as good but are still awesome)
