Have you been holding off paying $19 a month for Unreal Engine 4 because it doesn't support the next generation of consoles?

If that is the case then start spending as the 4.1 update released this week has introduced support for both Playstation 4 and Xbox One. This brings the total number of supported platforms to 7 (Windows, Linux (Preview), SteamOS (Preview), PS3, PS4, 360 and Xbox One) as well as having Oculus Rift support too.

Although the 4.1 update has been certified by Sony and is currently being certified by Microsoft it won't stop game makers submitting their UE4 Games to either platform for approval

As listed in the release notes there is also plenty of new content demos and templates for you to get your hands on

I have zero idea what point you're trying to convey is.

He's trying to tell you that it's now official.
