Since my 1300mAh and 1600mAh Rayovac NiMH and my 1850 mAh Energizer NiMH batteries are aging and no longer hold the longevity that they once enjoyed, I just ordered some POWEREX 2700mAh NiMH batteries. I also have an old Rayovac PS1 charger, and want to replace that too. What battery charger do you guys recommend?

Powerex rechargeable are the best I have ever used. I highly recommend that you use a powerex charger with them as other chargers will not completely charge them. You may not be as impressed with there performances if they are not fully charged.

Excellent charger:

The best: (but only charges 4 at a time)

Look around for some deals. The MH-C9000 can be purchased with more batteries for only $5 more. Sweet deal!

I use them in my Nikon and Canon flashes.

I went on vacation recently. I didnt take a whole lot of photos because I was just trying to enjoy myself. I gave landscape photography another go.. its really hard and frustrating to me. So many little things in a photo that can ruin it. Damn trees and branches always getting in the way. LOL its hard coming from a portrait photographers perspective.

Here are some shots:

Mount Washington
_MG_3028.jpg

Mckenzie Highway. Half of it is desert and Barron with lots of snow. The other half is lush green trees.

Koosah Falls: Its quite the steep trip off of the main trail to get down where I took this shot. Totally worth it.
_MG_3267-as-Smart-Object-1.jpg

The Cabin: We stayed at a very nice lodge. The cabins where huge! Hot tub, large screen tv, push button fireplace, excellent view of the forest. On "campus" pub/movietheater/spa/gym/fine dining. We had a great time!

After lunch coma. No energy to do anything but lay back and take a nappy.

Thanks for your input. I'll probably go with the MH-C9000 because it is way more portable than the other.

Helloooo. I took some pictures over the Christmas period. If any of you ever wondered what grand(!) old Norwich looks like, this may satisfy your curiosity. I took them at night because I think Norwich always looks prettier at night.. but I don't think these photos are much too special.

Norwich is old. :)

Yes I used a tripod, and nope it was taken just before the snow hit us. The exposure time was 25 secs, and a 100 ISO.

Nice! Noise free shots :)
Great way of getting rid of all the street traffic too.

The tree looks like its arching its back. Its almost a female like arch. I'm half expecting destruction to follow.

somewhere; sometime?
oh nice! superhighres indeed.

seriously though, that picture is really cool.
just the contrast between the sharp, "realistic" plant foliage and the 8-bit piranha, and being aware of the pop culture reference.

if Nintendo were working on a new, next-gen Super Mario game, that pic would make for an outstanding promo poster.
all you gotta' do now is add Yoshi.

RAMBO!

this picture is awesome
do you have a bigger version?

I promise to only use it for my desktop.
but if I make a bunch of posters to sell @ 5 bucks a pop, I'll let you in on the profits, say 40/60?
Actually, you can't sell it since that plant trap (forget what it's really called) is a registered property of Nintendo. Unless you want to get fined for IP infringement. :p

He could sell the original non-edited photo, and supply the plant for free, and have the customer tape or glue the plant onto the picture. :p
