I really like the last one. The moon has been super bright the last few days.

I used to do the same type of thing but with a laser pointer.

Also I wish I could take such great pictures at night without an immense amount of noise, even at ISO80. :(

The one of the moon behind the tree got a lot of noise reduction thrown on it, the others are shot at ISO100 though. It was a little cold, but very fun. I wish I could written something, but you have to make inverted movements, which is incredibly difficult, especially with a camera.

Neat! I have yet to try that. How much work was it to do?

Thats pretty epic man. I wish the people in the scene where more visible but I'm sure they are at full res.

It was quite simple really, I just used the BULB exposure setting, then I could just "paint" as much as I wanted. I used my tripod in order to get the accurate shapes. The biggest problem is writing. You have to do inverted movements, and that can be incredibly difficult.

Very nice!

Perhaps you could do regular movements and then flip the image horizontally in post. Since its just a design and you don't have people with moles on the wrong side of their faces, I think you could get away with it.

A friend of mine wanted to shoot a series of photos using these masks you see in the photo. I have seen this done before, but I wanted to see if we could take it a step further and make something more of it rather than just a person with a mask on. I am pretty happy with the end result. More photos to come.
