IMPORTANT: UTXMP Controls

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

In addition to the standard UT:2004 Controls, UT:XMP adds some new ones:

Weapon reload -- Defaulted to R
Sprint -- Defaulted to Shift

Scoreboard -- Defaulted to F1
MVP Screen -- Defaulted to F2
Toggle class select menu -- Defaulted to F3
Toggle team select menu -- Defaulted to F4

Switching positions in vehicle -- 1, 2, 3

Switching steering mode from keyboard to mouse and back (this is not in the controls menu, you'll have to manually bind it) -- mousesteering

These can ofcourse all be changed via the Configure Controls menu in the Settings menu (Settings --> Input --> Configure Controls).

If these were not defaulted like this when you installed, you'll have to set them yourself via the Configure Controls menu.

EDIT:
It should look like this in your UTXMPUser.ini

F1=ShowScores
F2=ShowStats
F3=ToggleClassSelectMenu
F4=ToggleTeamSelectMenu
R=Reload
F=Use
LShift=Walking

Not a big deal but it was unbound in my ini, and no key was bound to Teamsay since R was bound to Reload.

These are my default that I got when I installed

F1=ShowScores
F2=InGameChat
F3=ShowStats
F4=ToggleBehindView
F5=ToggleFreeCam
F6=Stat Net
F7=ToggleFreeCamSwivel
F8=NextStats
F9=shot
F10=Cancel
F11=MusicMenu
F12=ToggleRadarMap
