Or at least I am, a little, not speaking for anyone else (haven't been a moderator here for a very long while).

I was playin around with UT2k4 and noticed that the scram cannon is compatible with it, so I had a very exhilarating experience in DM with the arena mutator on and noticed some things that definitely needed improving. I've been meaning to program SOMETHING again, and two or so years away from uScript has left me rather confused about the whole thing. So now I figure, "What better way to get back into it than to finish what I started?"

I gots a coupla days off work, so I am gonna improve and rerelease the scram cannon. If anyone reads this anymore and downloads it again HERE (I am sure no one has or remembers it) and can think of anything they believe needs fixed/improved, feel free to let me know.

Current Planned Fixes:
  • Missiles more drunk
  • Higher starting ammo
  • Primary can still fire with less than 10 ammo
  • Secondary fire decreased ROF
  • Secondary fire increased damage
  • Different model (maybe)

Reduce the ROF of primary and make it akimboable. :O
Missiles seemed drunk enough to me. D'know about your ideas for secondary.

Update:

You're right, missiles are drunk enough. Increased starting ammo to 50, rather than 40, and DECREASED the number of ammo it uses in primary to 7, since it fires weaker missiles. Which actually turns out to be a vast improvement for playability, cuz you can fight it out just that much more.

Deecreased drunk missile speed so they have more control when seeking and fighting in tighter quarters is a bit easier.

Working on using the ball launcher model instead of the flak cannon. See ask a coder if you wish to help with the difficulties in changing models.

Primary fire rate is reduced.

I don't remember if there are any. I remember one for UT'99. In any case, I'm pretty sure you gotta put the code in the weapon, rather than just set a default property or something via a mutator.
