I see you as clueless (in an ignorant, not-your-fault sort of way), bitter, and thankfully "across the pond"

You still argue that WMD existed in Iraq, up to the time the inspections ended.

Saddam Hussein had used chemical weapons before.

His country was invaded, his regime destroyed and several members of his family were killed. Surely a prompt for such a desperate madman to use WMD. Wasnt this the very threat of the man?

No WMD surfaced in the war.

The US army invaded and has largely controlled Iraq for months.

They had a massive staff of professionals searching, not to mention a huge PR/credibilty incentive to find WMD.

No WMD surfaced.

Yet you insist that the Iraqis were moving these weapons around to avoid weapons inspections.

I think you need to recheck your logic before you suggest others are "clueless".

Are you talking about George W. Bush? Do you see him more in the pure Marxist/Leninist vein of socialism, or do you think is a modern democratic socialist, keen on bolstering the welfare state and nationalising industry? Perhaps you think he is more in the Trotskiite vein, where his moral compass leads him to rail against the corruption inherent in central government?

*shrug* He's presided over the biggest expansion of government in recent years. That's as socialist as you get nowadays.

If you're talking to me, then I'm glad we agree on something. I see you in exactly the same way.

It's US army that kicks ass, not Bush. There's nothing wrong in kickg crap out of dictatiors if you are consistent, but If you support some to stay in power and overthrow others that dont like you, then your not a force of good.

SlayerDragon, you say america shouldn't bother with pleasing the rest of the world. Kinda a niave view. It's the same view Hussien took. I just pray that one day the world gets pissed off, invades the US, takes Bush and leaves.

We don't have to make the rest of the world happy, we have to coexist with the rest of the world. There's a difference.

And if getting rid of Bush is so important to you and the others here, why don't you all go do something about it rather than bitch about him on these internet forums?

What makes you think that "bitching" and "doing something" are incompatible with each other???

Invading a country without approval from the UN
Immediately making a beeline for that countries oil reserves
Destroying the country

All those constitute coexisting?

Are you mentally unstable?

Oh and dont be stupid. How the hell is one artist going to take on america?
What am I meant to do? Write a witty and hurtfully destructive comic strip to destroy that evil President?

I don't think it'll work somehow. Madmen only have power if the idiots below them ALLOW them to have power...

That includes you little one :)

Hey, thanks for the condescending remarks, considering I didn't offer any to you. Looks like someone has a superiority complex.

One would have to be an idiot to assume that one person alone could make a difference alone. (But I guess that says a lot since you assumed that's what I meant.) What I suggested is the lot of you get together and figure something out. No man alone makes a difference, but he convinces people to follow him - much like the idiots below such madmen as the ones you speak of in your post. I guess that your inability to create art powerful enough to persuade such obviously dull witted and slow minded individuals has angered you to a point that you had to lash out. Therefore, I will forgive you for being a condescending *******.

No, I think "bitching about it on an internet forum" (particularly one on a GAMING website) and "doing something" are not compatible with each other. Especially considering that the majority of the people participating in these "debates" are actually in agreement with the point of view I was responding to.

Lol. Interesting. You spent the entire post firing back remarks and yet ignored most of the points and questions raised...

hmm :)

According to the "free enterprise ,free market" dogma/religion that ruled the past century there would be no reason to prevent these companies from working in irak.

And, according to "free enterprise, free market" dogma, there would be no reason to prevent the screening of eligible bidders based on any set of criteria. I can assure you that your own government does it daily.

Using your logic, any company anywhere in the world would be eligible to bid on work funded with your tax dollars regardless of their host government's policies. NOT!

Mark Steyn lays it out for us all.
